HUND was founded in the spirit of our beloved mastiff, George, whose steady, soulful presence forever changed the rhythm of our life. He’s strength without force, devotion without demand. He’s taught us that morning coffee is not something to rush through, but something to inhabit. He reminds us to move gently, to love deeply, and to live each day at a dog’s pace.

Liz Greyson is a writer (elizabeth-sanders.com), mom, and animal/nature enthusiast, who lives in Brooklyn with her husband, two kids, two dogs, and a cat.

Lukas Greyson is a photographer and visual artist (greysonimages.com), dad, and mental health professional at Mount Sinai, who has spent many years caring for dogs and actively supporting animal rescue efforts.
